Hifz fails without revision, so every lesson is split three ways. Sabaq is the new portion — usually a few lines for beginners, up to half a page for strong students. Sabqi is the material memorised in the last week or two, recited from memory to catch decay early. Manzil is older material cycled on a fixed schedule so nothing memorised a year ago quietly disappears.
