What a typical Quran Recitation (Nazra) class looks like

A standard Nazra lesson is 30–45 minutes. The teacher first asks the student to read 3–5 lines from the previous page to lock in retention, then introduces the new portion line-by-line — modelling, correcting Makharij and flagging recurring Tajweed slips. Mid-lesson, students get a fluency drill where the teacher times a short passage at speaking pace. The class closes with the next-class homework, a written note to parents (for under-16s), and a closing dua.
